Photography Challenge: You Can Inspire Sustainable Living Now

Jaceybonavia/ Lifestyle

If you are reading Wild Sustainability’s articles, you have likely committed yourself to make changes to live a more sustainable, intentional, nature-focused life. You dedicate yourself to living regeneratively, but what if your friends, family, and community are not? Inspire them with your photography!

Eco-Friendly Home Photography

The best way to convince people to adopt your eco-friendly lifestyle is to lead by example. One way to model this lifestyle widely is through photography. Share photos of practices you have adopted in your home and how you have benefited from these practices. After they see that these changes are worth it, they may feel the inspiration to try some of the changes themselves!

Outdoor Photography

During June, we learned about the powerful mental, physical, and spiritual benefits of spending more time outdoors.

According to the National Wildlife Federation, spending time in nature, especially as children, also inspires us to appreciate the outdoors more and become better stewards of the natural world.

Take pictures outside and share them on social media. Your images may inspire others to spend more time enjoying nature. Ultimately, this may lead them to conserve wildlife and facilitate its regeneration.

Examples of Outdoor Subjects

  • Children playing outside
  • Clouds and other weather-related phenomena
  • Flowers, other plants, and fungi
  • Friends hiking

  • Landscapes: Beaches, mountains, prairies, forests, deserts, etc.
