Supporting sustainable-living strategies

Mission

Wild Sustainability’s mission is to provide inspiring tips, information, resources, and solidarity for people seeking to live a more sustainable, eco-conscious life to protect human well-being, wildlife biodiversity, and environmental conservation.

Vision

Wild Sustainability envisions a world without climate change, pollution, extinction, and culture of “disposability.” I envision socially just societies where everyone can maintain physical and mental health and financial stability and where everyone treasures people and the planet over profits. And most importantly, we envision a world where all living beings — plants, fungi, animals, and all humans — are valued and respected.

Guiding Values

  • Environmental Conservation
  • Nature and Wildlife
  • Social Justice
  • Mental Health

History

I have valued nature and wildlife my entire life. Although I was born and raised in Wisconsin, my favorite memories in life are observing wild animals on mountain trails in Colorado, Montana, Idaho, and Alaska. I started my journey toward zero-waste, intentional, eco-friendly living in 2019, and I developed the idea for Wild Sustainability in August 2020, during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
